burn bright. He feels the light in Lord Capulet's house is dim in comparison to
Juliet's beauty. She seems to hang upon the cheek of night and he compares her
to a jewel in an Ethiope's ear. Her beauty is too rich for use and for Earth

till then. He says that he has not seen true beauty till that night.

Ans: In the poem 'On Children', the
prophet describes
the relationship between the children and their parents. He says "your
children are not your children, they are the sons and daughters of life's
longing for itself'. The parents can house their children's bodies but not
their souls. Here the poet has employed an imagery 'bows' and 'arrows' to
highlight the roles of 'parent and child'. The bows and arrows are referred to
the parents and children respectively. The archer is God. The archer sees the
mark upon the path of the infinite. The God bends the parents with his might

binding in the hands of the archer for he not only loves the flying arrows but
also the stable bow.

to him that they had come there to teach them forestry. At the point when the
forester answered, calling them stupid ladies and found out if they knew the
genuine estimation of the forests and found out if they understood what the
forests bore, the ladies countered and sang in ensemble saying that the forests
bore soil, water, and unadulterated air which support the Earth and all she
bears. Their showing was extremely viable on the grounds that, the men society
including the forester accepted that the town ladies were innocent and
uninformed, yet despite what might be expected, they demonstrated that they
were very proficient about the advantages of ranger service.

house with meaning in 'The Gardener'?
Ans: Basavaiha tried to fill his house with meaning
by bringing home different objects, decorations, and furniture. He believed
that by adding more things, his house would feel full and meaningful. Numerous scholars of folklore and scholarly
critics interpreted his melodies and procured a lot of the popularity. This
made Basavaiah shrivel in defeat. Be that as it may, he attempted to change his
embarrassment by obtaining more material riches and extravagances. He got a
palatial manor worked for himself. He designated various people just to applaud
him. He festooned himself with gold, jewels, and other valuable stones. He even
had begun welcoming researchers, writers and performers to his place with the
aim of contributing his home with significance.
23) What changes does the foot under go
after being condemned to live in a shoe?
Ans: After being
condemned to live in a shoe, the foot undergoes several changes. It loses its

because it is no longer exposed to sun, air, or soil. The foot that once
enjoyed walking freely now feels trapped inside the shoe. Over time, it forgets
the joy of being in touch with nature and becomes dependent on the shoe for
support. The transformation shows how something natural and strong can become
dull and lifeless when it is confined and separated from its original
environment.

were numerous issues which he had not had the option to settle. In any case,
when the elderly person met him, he came to realize that the elderly person was
knowledgeable in horticulture and had local insight. In this manner he named
him right away. His assumptions demonstrated right. The elderly person
demonstrated his value in tackling every one of the issues. Therefore, the pay
from the nursery improved significantly. This caused a detectable change in the
way of life of the proprietor. He extended his manor. Be that as it may, he got
lazy and avoided difficult work. His abundance and social glory additionally
expanded. He obtained various companions in the following town just as in his
own town. Despite the fact that he had priceless little to do, his life got
swarmed with beautiful occasions. He developed umpteen indecencies including
infidelity.
25) How do the verses in 'Romeo and
Juliet express the implicitly of feelings?
Ans: The two respectable families of Verona, the
Capulet's and the Montague's were steadfast adversaries. Romeo and
Juliet had a
place with rival families. Old Lord Capulet facilitated a great supper. Despite
the fact that Romeo had a place with the group of Montague's, he gone to the
dinner in camouflage to see Roseline, there he sees Juliet on the dance floor
and is captivated by her excellence. After the dance he discovers that she is
the girl of Lord Capulet. She also feels a huge birth of affection for a man
from the adversary family. Romeo acknowledges contacting her hand would be a
wrongdoing since she appears to be so awesome. He additionally acknowledges
whether he could possibly do contact her, his discourteous hand would be
honored. Romeo revokes his previous uplifting statements.
One look of Juliet caused him to feel that each other young lady he has ever observed should not exist, that way to state Romeo has discovered a genuine affection. He differentiates her against her family calling her a bird which is white, a brilliant image of affection and expectation against a group of crows. This he uses to clarify their culpability and haziness against the light alluded to Juliet. The bird is the image of guiltlessness and immaculateness. He additionally depicts Juliet as 'resembling a sun', 'more splendid than a light', 'a gem shimmering in the evening', and 'a brilliant blessed messenger among foreboding shadows'. Juliet utilizes the expression 'day in evening' and 'more white than new snow on a raven's back'.
Juliet portrays Romeo as day in evening and
more white than snow upon a raven's back. This differentiation of light and dim
can be extended as images differentiating affection and disdain, youth and age
Juliet goes above and beyond, she attempts to deify her enthusiastic love
towards Romeo. 'Come delicate evening; come, cherishing, dark browed night,
'when I will bite the dust, take him and cut him out in little stars'
expression so Juliet solicitations to give her Romeo to her and when she kicks
the bucket, she asks destiny to transform him into stars and structure a
heavenly body in his picture. His face will make the paradise so delightful
that the world will become hopelessly enamored with the evening and fail to
remember the pompous sun. Juliet wishes to deify Romeo after his passing by
wishing to change him into star. Juliet by discussing post-existence shows more
energetic and extreme love for her adored Romeo. Romeo is hypnotized and
entranced by her actual magnificence. Though she isn't just captivated by
Romeo's character however is profoundly enamored with Romeo.
26) The poem 'When you are old' brings
out the transient nature of beauty as against permanence of love. Discuss.
Ans: In W.B.
Yeats’s poem ‘When You Are Old’, the poet reflects on the temporary nature of
physical beauty and the lasting quality of true love. He imagines the woman in
her old age, with grey hair and tired eyes, remembering the past. Many men
loved her for her youthful beauty and charm, but their love was temporary and
faded with time. In contrast, the poet loved her deeply for her inner self—her
soul, not just her looks. His love remained constant, even as beauty faded.
This contrast between fading beauty and everlasting love is central to the
poem. It shows that physical attraction is short-lived, but genuine emotional
love endures. The poem becomes a reminder that true love is spiritual and
eternal, while outer beauty is temporary and will disappear with age.
27) How is the title of the play 'A
Sunny Morning' justifiable? Elaborate.
Ans: The title ‘A
Sunny Morning’ is very appropriate for the play because it reflects both the physical
setting and the emotional tone of the story. The play is set on a bright sunny
morning in a park in Madrid, where two elderly people, Don Gonzalo and Dona
Laura, meet by chance. This morning leads to the rediscovery of their youthful
love from the past. The sunshine symbolizes warmth, clarity, and new
beginnings. Just as the morning sun brightens the day, their conversation
brings light to old memories and lost emotions. It turns into a pleasant and
heart-warming reunion. The bright morning sets the stage for their cheerful
interaction and playful conversation. Thus, the title not only refers to the
literal sunny morning but also highlights the emotional brightness that the
meeting brings to their lives.
28) Tagore sees Unity with Nature as the
highest stage of human evolution –
Justify the statement with reference to
Vandana Shiva's essay.
Ans: In Vandana
Shiva’s essay, she talks about living in harmony with nature and respecting it
as a living entity. This idea reflects Rabindranath Tagore’s belief that unity
with nature is the highest stage of human growth. Vandana Shiva’s parents lived
close to nature—her father was a forest conservator and her mother was a
farmer. Their lifestyle taught her to value the natural world deeply. She
explains how modern society often exploits nature, leading to environmental
destruction. In contrast, ancient Indian traditions lived in balance with
forests, rivers, and animals. Tagore believed that true civilization is
achieved when humans recognize their oneness with nature, rather than
dominating it. Vandana Shiva’s life and work for environmental protection show
this unity in practice. By respecting and protecting nature, humans rise to
their highest moral and spiritual stage.
29) The poem 'On Children' does not
merely focus on the lives of children, but also talks about the responsibility
of parents Explain with reference to Kahlil Gibran's poem.
Ans: Kahlil
Gibran’s poem ‘On Children’ gives deep insight into the relationship between
parents and children. He explains that children are born through their parents,
but they do not belong to them. Parents are like bows, and children are like
arrows, parents give strength and direction, but cannot control their children’s
destiny. Gibran reminds parents that children have their own thoughts, dreams,
and future. Parents must guide them with love, not try to make them copies of
themselves. They should provide a strong foundation but allow children to grow
freely. The poem thus shifts the focus from children’s behavior to the attitude
of parents. It emphasizes that true parental responsibility lies in supporting
and preparing children for their future without forcing them into the past.
This makes the poem meaningful for both parents and children.
