I Am Mother is a science fiction movie set in a future where Earth has been destroyed. A robot called Mother raises a girl called Daughter inside a high-tech bunker. She tells Daughter that the outside world is unsafe. But one day, a Woman arrives, injured and begging for help. Her presence makes Daughter question everything she has been told.

 

As the story unfolds, Daughter discovers shocking secrets about Mother, the outside world, and her own purpose. The movie ends with Daughter deciding to take control of the future by raising a new generation of humans with moral values.

MY OPINION

The film made me think deeply about AI, parenting, and trust. It also shows how a young girl grows from being obedient to becoming a wise leader. I enjoyed the thrilling moments and the final twist.
