Ans: In the first four lines of the poem:
birds make next on the trees. Children play hide and seek and swings by tying
swing from the branches. Their kites would catch in trees. People have tea
parties under the tree.
b) Why do trees make noise some times?
Ans: Trees make noise some times when the
wind blows through the leaves of tree rustling.
c) When do children complain about trees?
Ans: Children complain about trees when their
kites get caught in the trees.
d) Where do the people look for cool shades
in summer?
Ans: Under the trees, the people look for
cool shade in summer.
e) Why is mother happy to see trees?
Ans: Mother is happy to see trees because it
is a lovely picture to paint.
f) Why does father grumble about his tree?
Ans: Father has to rake up all the fallen
leaves. So, father grumbles about his tree.
g) Which word suggests the sound of an
electric saw?
Ans: The word suggests the sound of an
electric saw is “TIMBER- R – R!”

read the poem? Talk to your partner about them. Fill in the blanks with suitable words. Then
