1) Explain Surender’s miserliness.

Ans: Surender was an affluent man. He had three huge barns brimming with gold, silver, jewels and valuable stones. In any case, he was a horrible miser. He purchased the least expensive, the dowdiest and the most common garments for his youngsters. He nearly starved the family. They supped on slop more often than not

 

2) Why didn’t Surender ask his wife to make a ladoo?

Ans: Surender saw a man eating a ladoo. His mouth watered at seeing the ladoo. He urgently needed to eat one.
