HOMONYMS / HOMOPHONES
A homonym is one of a set of words that have the same
spelling and the same sound but have different meanings.
A homophone is a word that sounds the same as another word but
differs in meaning.
All homonyms are homophones as they sound the same. However, not all
homophones are homonyms. Homophones with different spellings are not homonyms.
