A Room 10' × 8', the story is based on a theme "Generation Gap" which is arising as an unpropitious sign in friendly texture. Mrs. Malik, an ordinary housewife, was enthused about building her fantasy house in an affluent colony of Delhi. Mr. Malik was having adaptable job. Mrs. Malik had chosen to remain in Delhi solely after their home got built on the grounds that she was tired of postings. She demanded having a credible store to the size of 10' × 8'. She believed that this room could be utilized by her mother-in-law, and once she left this world, it was to be utilized as store-room. Mr. Malik, who was unconscious of her arrangement, acknowledged the proposition. Mrs. Malik took an unmistakable fascination for its construction. She directed every single detail. At last her son understood his mix-up and came down to open the entryway and Mrs. Malik was accompanied to the room of the size of 10' × 8', which was believed to be saved for her mother-in-law. The existence had taken round trip and now Mrs. Malik was obliged in a similar room by her daughter- in-law. Mrs. Malik was sinking and her own words were showing up before her.
